The Health Communication Leadership Institute (HCLI) is the CHC's premier professional educational offering. In this engaging, advanced workshop, current and aspiring health communication leaders will learn strategies and best practices for leadership, management, and innovation.
Health Communication Training Series
The Health Communication Training Series (HCTS) is a continuing education opportunity for current and aspiring healthcare and health communication professionals. HCTS consists of engaging, self-paced, and easy-to-navigate interactive courses on various health communication topics. Learners have the option to accrue continuing medical or nursing education credits.
McGovern Health Communication Lecture Series
The McGovern Health Communication Lecture Series features lectures related to health policy or the practice of health communication from leading figures in communication, public health, and health communication.

Health Communication Minor
Students in the health communication minor will learn about interpersonal, organizational, and mass health communication strategies and campaigns. By learning how health communication professionals think and act, they’ll be well prepared for a career in various healthcare or communication settings.
Graduate Portfolio
The CHC's graduate portfolio allows University of Texas at Austin graduate students to develop a deep knowledge of the field of health communication. The program covers communication theory, research methods, and applications through courses taught by faculty from the Moody College of Communication and the Colleges of Education, Natural Sciences, and Nursing.
