Research at the Center for Health Communication is "evidence-based health communication" in practice. We acknowledge that only through evidence-based research and design can our campaigns have the greatest chance of success and impact. All CHC research—from program evaluation and formative research to survey design—is guided by evidence to advance the health communication field, as well as the health and well-being of people and populations.
Using research in our work
The CHC weaves research into all aspects of our work — led by a dedicated team of researchers who conduct original research, publish academic articles, give presentations, and work with undergraduate and graduate students while grounding all work in health communication theory and best practices.
